SpatialExplorer 8 Release: New CLOUD file structure

SpatialExplorer 8 Release: New CLOUD file structure

SpatialExplorer version 8 uses a new and improved CLOUD file structure. This new CLOUD file structure makes processing faster, enables processing larger data sets via tiling, implements a commit history for undoing changes, and makes it more obvious when the CLOUD needs to be saved to disk.

As a result of this new file structure, CLOUD files created in SpatialExplorer versions 7 and earlier are not compatible with SpatialExplorer 8. To upgrade your CLOUD files to be compatible with version 8, you can import them as an LAZ, or rebuild them. PLP and trajectory files from earlier versions of SE should still be compatible with SE 8.
